FLIR Professional Grade Clip-On Thermal

When an entire operation could depend on a single trigger pull, professionals choose Armasight by FLIR Apollo Pro thermal clip-on weapon sights

WILSONVILLE, OR The stakes can be life or death whenever a soldier, law enforcement officer or professional hunter pulls the trigger. That's why expert operators demand the Armasight" target="_blank">www.armasight-international.com%2Fthermal-imaging%2Fthermal-clip-on">Armasight by FLIR Apollo Pro family of clip-on thermal imaging weapon sights.

Available in five distinct models, the Armasight by FLIR Apollo Pro is a rugged, solid-state, uncooled, long-wave infrared 1x (unity magnification) clip-on thermal imaging device designed to mount in front of a variable-magnification day sight on precision rifles and tactical weapons. It can also be used as a stand-alone thermal weapon sight or as a handheld monocular that features an integral compass and inclinometer for enhanced target ranging.

Utilizing proven FLIR TAU-2 Technology, Apollo Pro is offered in 336x256 and 640x512 pixel formats with professional-grade 50mm or 100mm Germanium (Ge) objective lenses, creating a wide variety of performance options to match the demands of any deployment.

Based around common core electronics, signal processing, and an infinity focused large-format collimating eyepiece, the Armasight by FLIR Apollo is available in a variety of options that cater to every military or commercial application. Installation of the Apollo Pro clip-on sight is easy, repeatable, and reliable, based on a user-friendly MILSTD- 1913/ Weaver/Picatinny rail-compatible quick-release locking mechanism.

As a 1x stand-alone weapon sight, solid-state reticle adjustments and software algorithms combined with a complementary color pallet ensure maximum reticle contrast and high-level accuracy that can't be achieved with mechanical adjusters. Apollo Pro also offers a tracking electronic zoom (e-zoom) function that can progressively increase from 1x to 2x to 4x and 8x (640x512 format only) without changing the point of aim.

Armasight by FLIR Apollo Pro models use a multi-pin connector to provide video-out/video-in capability, as well as external power supply and support of accessories. An optional laser range finder, external battery pack, multispectral laser and other accessories designed to attach via the MIL-STD-1913 rail of the Zeus Pro are available.

An included five-button wireless remote allows operation and modification of the Apollo Pro imagery without having to remove hands from the weapon. The Bluetooth©-capable Apollo Pro can also interface with ballistics and control applications on most smart phones.

Apollo Pro models feature a user-friendly dual-power option of either four 3.0V DC CR123A batteries (all oriented in the same direction to prevent confusion in replacement) or four 1.5VDC AA batteries pre-loaded in a cartridge. Designed to operate even in the chaos of unexpected deployments, the Apollo Pro also offers a special power-management feature, which provides just over an hour of operation with a single 3.0V DC CR123A battery.

The Armasight by FLIR Apollo Pro represents the most rugged, versatile and sophisticated Armasight clip-on product available for soldiers, police officers and professional hunters who want to add full thermal capability to their existing daylight weapon systems.
