Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. has acquired Savage Arms, Inc., the 132-year-old Massachusetts-based rifle and shotgun manufacturer, from JDH Holdings for $160 million. The acquisition combines two historic American firearms manufacturers, with Savage bringing approximately $160 million in annual net sales and 500 employees to create the largest commercial firearms manufacturer in the United States.

European American Armory (EAA Corp) acquired a large manufacturing facility in Mountain City, Tennessee with expansion acreage, undergoing renovations to support advanced firearms manufacturing. EAA Corp is seeking strategic industry partners for leasing and manufacturing operations within the facility.

D&M Holding Company has acquired EKOCHEM 94 s.r.o., a Czech Republic-based engineering firm specializing in propellant and ammunition manufacturing equipment. The acquisition strengthens D&M's capabilities to support NATO allies, Ukraine, and friendly governments seeking ammunition independence amid escalating global conflicts.

C&H Precision, led by owner Buck Holly, has acquired an ownership position in Merus Adventure Park near Amarillo, Texas, expanding into guided hunting, long-range precision rifle training, corporate retreats, and industry events on the 5,500-acre property.

Wilson Combat announced the immediate acquisition of Guncrafter Industries, uniting two respected custom firearms manufacturers. Founded by Bill Wilson and Alex Zimmermann respectively, both companies share a commitment to precision engineering and quality 1911 pistols, with Zimmermann remaining in an advisory capacity.

American Holoptics, a privately held U.S. company based in Clawson, MI, has acquired Armasight from Ecentria Group. Armasight, a Tempe, AZ-based manufacturer of night vision and thermal optics, expands American Holoptics' portfolio with products targeting both consumer and professional markets.

Cadre Holdings, Inc. has agreed to acquire Alien Gear Holsters from Tedder Industries, LLC for $10.3 million through bankruptcy auction. The transaction, expected to close in Q2 2026, will add the established holster brand to Cadre's portfolio alongside Safariland and Med-Eng.

Bleecker Street Publications announced the acquisition of Gun University, a leading online firearms education platform founded by Ryan Cleckner and Dave Chesson. The acquisition expands Bleecker Street Publications' portfolio while maintaining Gun University's mission of delivering responsible firearms education and equipment reviews.

Shadow Systems, a Texas-based firearms manufacturer, has been acquired by Roe Strategic Capital LLC, a partnership between CEO Trevor Roe and investor Richard Roe, from Catalyst Holdings. The management-led transaction positions the company for long-term growth and product expansion while maintaining current operations and leadership.

MDT Sporting Goods announced the acquisition of Lone Peak Arms and Leading Edge Machine, a Utah-based manufacturer of precision rifle actions. The strategic acquisition combines MDT's chassis systems with Lone Peak's acclaimed Fuzion and Razor action models, creating a more complete precision shooting ecosystem for customers.

XTech Tactical announced the acquisition of Creature Grips, LLC in Q4 2025, rebranding the heat-venting rail cover technology as Thru-Flo™ Rail Covers. The lightweight, tool-free covers are compatible with M-LOK handguards and priced at $14.95 for a 6-pack, expanding XTech Tactical's product portfolio with patented innovation.

Colt CZ Group SE successfully closed its acquisition of 51% stakes in Synthesia Nitrocellulose and Synthesia Power for CZK 10.0 billion, strengthening control over key ammunition production materials. Kaprain Chemical Limited became Colt CZ's third largest shareholder with a 9.86% stake.

GSM Outdoors has acquired Smith’s Products, the market leader in the knife and scissor sharpening categories, adding the Arkansas-based manufacturer to its growing portfolio of rugged outdoors brands.

Safariland®, one of Cadre Holdings, Inc.’s (NYSE: CDRE) key brands, announced that Cadre has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire TYR Tactical, a leading global manufacturer of tactical gear and equipment for military and law enforcement.

Riton Optics is announcing the acquisition of the Blackhound Optics trademarks and inventory as part of its ongoing pursuit of market share in the optics space. Blackhound Optics, a direct-to-consumer optics brand, will continue to be available to consumers through its website, www.blackhoundoptics.com, while inventory lasts.

In a strategic move to expand its role in the defense technology ecosystem, EOTECH announced the acquisition of VK Integrated Systems (VKIS), a Tennessee-based developer of advanced weapon electronics and battlefield networking solutions.

CCW Safe announced the acquisition of the Armed Citizens’ Legal Defense Network Inc. (ACLDN). The Armed Citizens’ Legal Defense Network was established in 2008 by Marty and Gila Hayes. Marty Hayes, a former law enforcement officer, firearms instructor, and author on self-defense law, played a key role in its founding. Today, ACLDN has members across all 50 states.

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. announced the asset purchase of Anderson Manufacturing, a manufacturer of firearms and firearm accessories based in Hebron, Kentucky. This strategic purchase includes Anderson's manufacturing facility and machinery and will provide Ruger the opportunity to work with a skilled and experienced workforce, strengthening its production capabilities and expanding its product offerings.

Wilson Combat announced that their sister company, Lehigh Defense LLC has acquired all assets of Performance Engineering. Performance Engineering has been a trusted supplier of 1911 and AR-15 components to the firearms industry for more than four decades, and Wilson Combat has been proud to source components from them for over 30 years.

Celerant Technology has announced its acquisition of Saledock, a modern, UK-based retail software company. This strategic merger marks Celerant’s official expansion into international markets, a goal in the making for several years.
