Watson qualified for Nationals in the Elite Division, but actually competed and won in the Women’s Master’s Division. Watson achieved all of this with just 2 years of competitive shooting in the Tactical Games.

“I’m very fortunate to have qualified for Nationals at the Tactical Games,” said Kristie Watson, Maxim Defense Factory Pro Shooter. “The combination of fitness and shooting drew me in initially, but the friends I have made while competing has been awesome. The camaraderie in the shooting sports world is unlike anything I’ve experienced before; fierce competition, yet completely supportive of one other.” Watson goes on to say, “I wouldn’t be where I am in my shooting career if it wasn’t for the support of my husband, family, friends, and coaches. They have pushed me to become a better athlete and person.”

Watson’s winning combination set-up includes a Maxim Defense MD 15 14.5” barreled rifle in 5.56 with a Swampfox Arrowhead LPVO 1-8 riflescope. Her handgun is a Staccato P 9mm pistol.

The Tactical Games were created to provide a platform that test the skills and readiness of tactical athletes of all backgrounds. The Tactical Games provide a venue for all shooters and athletes to compete. The Tactical Games scoring is designed to weigh each battle equally on a 100-point scale. How you finish on that 100 Point scale is a direct representation of how you performed compared to the top score in your division.
