BRADENTON, FL – Liberty Ammunition gets calls from professional Contractors, Law Enforcement and consumers that have used our ammo in self-defense.
We just received a letter from a Contractor that was assigned to protect a foreign asset. The letter is worth sharing. Portions are redacted for security reasons.
But the result is the same - Tango down.
Here is the letter:
“We had just arrived at the designated delivery point when 2 persons armed with shotguns stepped out from behind what was supposed to be a secured door of the building. Distance was approx. 25 feet, when the first guy tried to bring up his weapon, my partner covered the VIP and I took the first defensive shot. (I figured· 2 rounds would be the minimum.)
That was not the case first round entered just above the zyphoyd area of the sternum. Second round entered about 2 inches above the first, Thanks to the lite recoil of your ammo. I was informed by local police afterward the second round was not required he was dead from the first round shredding his heart.
He was deceased before the 2nd round hit. He went down hard and was pronounced at the scene, when his partner witnessed the impact, and lethality he dropped his weapon and surrendered.
I am sorry but this is about as much as I can tell. Please understand my first email was exactly what was said, a very very grateful THANK YOU from us and our families. It was not sent as a testimonial or with the intent to get any goodies. It was and is meant as A THANK YOU to all of the people who helped in the round’s development and production.
Keep up the great work. You have 2 families who will only use your ammo for our defense, and work.”
