COLUMBIA, MO ––

MidwayUSA’s Kyle Smarr was recently promoted to the position of Logistics Manager – Outbound. Kyle joined MidwayUSA in December of 2008 as a Logistics Specialist and became Logistics Shipping Supervisor in June of 2020. Kyle was instrumental in working with the Logistics Department Leadership Team in the Washington DC transition and subsequent opening of the new MidwayUSA facility.

“One thing I have always loved about MidwayUSA is our continuous process improvement,” said Kyle. “There is no goal too big, we will always find a way to obtain it. This thinking has always pushed us to do our best and think big. I am grateful for the opportunity to bring many more ideas to the table in my new role.”

In his new position, Kyle will focus on processes supporting Order Fulfillment, including Perfect Pick, Fast Pick, and Vertical Lift Module Operations. Kyle will report to Brian Rose, Vice President of Logistics.

“Kyle’s experience over the last 13 years has proven to be invaluable to MidwayUSA’s focus on quality and our strategy of placing Customers first,” said Brian Rose, VP of Logistics. “He has demonstrated a high attention to detail and a relentless drive to continuously improve our processes. He’ll do an outstanding job in his new role leading our Outbound operations.”
