The 2020 Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade (SHOT) show wrapped up in Las Vegas back in January (last trade show in the industry for the foreseeable future). The five-day event, which kicks off with “Industry Day at the Range,” is the firearms enthusiast’s version of Disney World. On full display were products covering every corner of the spectrum, from target shooting and self-defense to hunting and law enforcement.
Think the gun industry is small potatoes? SHOT Show is the largest trade show of its kind in the world (sorry IWA, your pints are good, but not that good!), attracting attendees from 115 countries, in addition to all 50 states.
Of the 2,400 credentialed media members in attendance, Tactical Life’s editors and content creators rounded up all the new handguns, holsters, precision rifles, ARs, high-tech gear like night vision, ammunition, suppressors, tactical blades and much more. In this issue, we’re giving you a sneak peek at some of the standouts in our “Stockpile” and a sampling of the new breed of radical, tactical shotguns within one of two cover features: “Tomorrow’s 12 Gauge.”
That’s right, we once again have printed this issue with two different covers.
