As a leader in laser aiming solutions for the soldier, Steiner eOptics is celebrating the release of its DBAL-PL® v2 and SBAL-PL v2 at the 2017 National Rifle Association Annual Meetings and Exhibits in Atlanta, Ga.

The advancements in the upgraded units demonstrate Steiner eOptics' continued design, development and manufacturing of advanced Laser Aiming Solutions. The DBAL-PL® v2 provides the functionality of Steiner eOptics' DBAL-A3 and MK4 Battle Light in one compact unit made specifically for pistols. The DBAL-PL® v2 combines a visible laser pointer, an infrared laser pointer, an infrared illuminator, and a white light illuminator into one integrated, all-aluminum package. The SBAL-PL® v2 combines a visible laser and white light illuminator. Both units are available with green or red visible lasers, were designed by Steiner eOptics' engineering team in Vermont, and are built in its new 50,000 square foot facility in Ohio.

Feedback on the initial release of the DBAL-PL and SBAL-PL was received from professionals from around the world. The resulting innovative v2 enhancements represent some of the most advanced laser aiming and illumination solutions designed for a pistol. The v2 features include fully programmable and ambidextrous switch functions for single tap, double tap, and press and hold operation. The DBAL-PL® v2 and SBAL-PL® v2 also have five programmable and independent dimming levels for each laser and illuminator. The units share the same rugged, durable, and dependable military environment specifications as Steiner eOptics' DBAL-A3 providing confidence to those who rely on them performing on the range and in battle.
