In 2016, UTG PRO released their P.O.I®, Precision Optics Interface, scope rings. Their solid construction and precision machined design made them perfect for high caliber precision long rang shooting and are .50 BMG rated. Closing out 2017, UTG PRO introduced the dovetail series of Precision Optics Interface scope rings into the family. Similar to that of their Picatinny brethren, these rings are the embodiment of superior material strength, precision machining, tight tolerances, and demanding quality control. The rings are progressively machined for a precise inner ring surface to provide a seamless ring-to-scope interaction. The low profile locking side plate controlled by dual spring loaded guide rods offers a precise fit on the majority of dovetail rails and receivers. A straight forward Torx screw locks the side plate ensuring a secure and repeatable zero when and when combined with its threaded recoil stop pin, provides an additional level of retention against the bidirectional recoil some air guns report. Milled from 6061-T6 Aluminum and finished in a matte black anodize, P.O.I® dovetail rings excel in strength, appearance, and functionality. The uniquely contoured, optimally sized, and lightweight P.O.I® dovetail rings are currently available in medium profile 1" and 30mm inner diameters with low and high profiles following suite.
