APPLETON, Wisconsin – Gun Digest Media LLC has promoted Luke Hartle to Editor-in-Chief of Gun Digest the Magazine. In his expanded role, Hartle is responsible for the oversight of all magazine and digital content under the Gun Digest brand and will continue to serve as host of Modern Shooter TV, Gun Digest’s network television property.
“Luke has been instrumental in executing the strategy for our recent makeover of Gun Digest the Magazine and elevating the quality of our Modern Shooter TV program,” said Jim Schlender, Group Publisher for Gun Digest Media. “I’m confident he has the experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to lead our content group as we continue to expand the Gun Digest brand.”
Since coming under new ownership in October of 2016, Gun Digest Media has continued to revitalize its magazine and book content while diversifying its network TV offerings and aggressively growing its digital content reach (GunDigest.com, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube).
