Bergara introduces the Platinum Stalker. Lawrenceville, Georgia – BPI Outdoors / Bergara® Rifles introduces the Platinum Stalker. The Platinum Stalker is designed for hunters who appreciate the traditional look and feel of a wood stock rifle, but want the stiffness and rigidity that laminate offers. Built on a pepper-colored laminate Monte Carlo stock, it delivers timeless style with the weather-resistant durability of laminate, ready for the toughest hunts in any environment. The caliber offerings start at the 6.5 Creedmoor and elevate to the .375 H&H, appealing to hunters wanting a rifle for brown bear in Alaska or dangerous game in Africa.
The Platinum Stalker is built on Bergara's Premier action and finished in stainless Cerakote®, ensuring smooth cycling, corrosion resistance, and lasting reliability. The Platinum Stalker has a 4.5-barrel profile. The fluted stainless steel barrel balances strength, rigidity, and weight reduction. Designed for repeatable precision and sub-MOA accuracy, every barrel is manufactured in-house using Bergara's proprietary honing and rifling process. Equipped with a machined M5-pattern bottom metal, this internal magazine system combines the traditional reliability of a hinged floorplate with the strength and fit only machined components can offer. The included Omni muzzle brake effectively reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise, helping hunters stay on target for quicker follow-up shots.
The TriggerTech® Primary trigger delivers a crisp, zero-creep break and consistent performance in all conditions. This trigger is factory-tuned for precision and user confidence in the field. The Platinum Stalker has a Remington 700 footprint which offers a broad compatibility with aftermarket stocks, bases, and triggers, giving hunters full customization flexibility.
This Platinum Stalker weighs a mere 6.75 pounds and has an MSRP starting at $1899.99.
