Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) – Ruger President and CEO Todd Seyfert was recognized on behalf of Ruger during the 2026 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Houston, TX, as a member of the NRA Golden Ring of Freedom. This recognition reflects Ruger's long-term commitment to supporting the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Second Amendment.
The NRA Ring of Freedom recognizes members who support the NRA's core programs, including protecting the rights of gun owners, promoting shooting sports and ensuring the legacy of freedom. Ruger's support of the NRA began with Bill Ruger Sr., a devoted supporter of the NRA and the Second Amendment. Following his passing, the NRA created the William B. Ruger Endowment, which secured funding for firearm safety education, youth programs and wildlife conservation, honoring his commitment to firearm safety and education.

"This, to me, is about what long-term relationships mean in the industry – Bill Ruger's commitment to the NRA over time and the industry," said Seyfert, while accepting the Golden Ring of Freedom jacket. "I'm happy I can be someone who follows in the legacy Bill Ruger started 76 years ago now. We take the Second Amendment very seriously at Ruger."
The Golden Ring of Freedom designation reflects the NRA and Ruger's mutual dedication to supporting Americans' Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms, firearm safety education and responsible participation in hunting and the shooting sports. As an American firearms manufacturer, Ruger proudly supports responsible firearms ownership and the programs that help protect and preserve these freedoms.
Ruger will continue to proudly support the NRA and its mission to preserve these American liberties. Congratulations to President and CEO Todd Seyfert on your Golden Ring of Freedom recognition and for carrying forward Ruger's longstanding commitment to the Second Amendment.
