Auto-Ordnance, maker of the famous "Tommy Gun," is proud to introduce a striking new edition of its classic .45 ACP semi-automatic carbine: the Thompson T1ABTG. Building upon the legendary 1927A-1 platform, this custom model delivers a stunning two-tone finish that combines rugged American history with refined artisanry.
Featuring a deep matte black steel receiver paired with high-polish titanium gold accents, the T1ABTG commands attention from every angle. Polished gold appointments highlight the iconic Cutts compensator, front sight, rear battle sight, charging handle, pivot plate, trigger, safety selector, sling swivels, and buttplate. A matching polished gold 20-round stick magazine completes the showpiece look. A second black finished 20 round magazine is also included.
The carbine retains all the hallmark features that define the Thompson legacy. It has a 16.5-inch finned barrel with Cutts compensator. The furniture is premium American walnut furniture. The woodwork showcases the classic horizontal rear stock, pistol grip, and ergonomic vertical foregrip with finger grooves for optimal control and handling. Chambered in the proven .45 ACP, this model offers collectors and enthusiasts an extraordinary blend of historical prestige and distinctive modern flash. As an added bit of history, this is the last Thompson to be marked as produced by Auto-Ordnance in Worcester, MA. All future Thompson's will be marked as produced in Greeley, PA.
The Auto-Ordnance Thompson T1ABTG is shipping now with an MSRP of $2,981. For more information on this model and the complete lineup of Auto-Ordnance firearms and accessories, visit auto-ordnance.com.
